I want to listen to explicit songs, because every second song I want to listen seems to be not available.

I tried to turn it off “Do not recommend explicit content”, but it still hasn’t changed.

the update might take a few hours.

 

But in my opinion the option only has effect on recommending songs. 
Searching manually for explicit content should work anyway. If the content can‘t be found imo it‘s not available.
